I can hardly believe that this is only the first time I post about David Cordero's music. His impressive ambient career goes for almost 15 years now and the album that finally brought him here is a collaboration with the visual designer and composer Aiko Takahashi that fills the room with calm and beautiful neoclassical ambient.
Takahashi is known for her contemplating and silence-exploring works (both sonic and visual) which makes her a perfect match for Cordero's music. The results of the cooperation are the calmest of soundscapes that bring peace and balance to everyone tired of the overstimulated reality around. The silence in which singular notes appear and into which they immediately melt again covers the audience with a blanket of this positive stillness that moves you anyway with its sheer beauty.
Night’s End costs 5 EUR.
