Neiv - Canyon Dreams (2018) EN

Neiv is a band from the north of Italy, that "love mountains, animals, the rainy mornings. the emotions and the reverb". As could be guessed, they express this live with their airy music showed on their debut album called Canyon Dreams.  

Neiv's music is based on the ephemeral vocal by Jennie hidden behind the reverbing effects and also on the peaceful and dreamy music. But still, if one dives more into it, there are always some intriguing melody and a lot of catchiness in them (especially in the great It's The Cold Side or Tic Tac Toe). There's a lot of inspirations drawn from Slowdive, especially in how quietly melodic some compositions are, like for example Rest-Stop that could easily be a song from a new album b the British legends.
