Pour Over - Crescent (2020) EN

Here we go, a second band recently that call themselves as "space cowboys". This time, after last week's Black Books, it's California's Pour Over's turn with their EP called Crescent.

Unlike the Texans, Pour Over had released only two short singles before and this short EP is their almost-debut. There's music there that combines uncanny energy and fast pace of the best quality rock with very airy vocals. This rich variety of riffs and intriguing, very catchy compositions is the most interesting aspect of the album. There's no traditional slower pace of "true" shoegaze and the dreamy vocals seem to be mostly an addition, but one that certainly draws attention.
