Ambientem tygodnia zostaje krótki split dwóch projektów z Portland - Davida Fylstry znanego jako Folian i bardziej zagadkowego Shifting Harbor.

Płytka została stworzona na potrzeby wspólnej trasy obu artystów, w której właśnie się znajdują. Otwiera ją kawałek Fylstry brzmiacy jak soundscape z nawiedzonego przez płaczące dusze domu. Jest ponury, powolny i bardzo nastrojowy. Podobne w wyrazie są też utwory Shifting Harbor, chociaż tutaj muzyka jest masywniejsza, kosmiczna i zarazem wciągająca. Album jest niezłym samplem prezentującym umiejętności obu panów i na pewno jest godny uwagi.

The ambient of the week is a short split from two Portland-based projects: David Fylstra known as Folian and a more mysterious Shifting Harbor.

Made for the tour the two artists are sharing just now, album is opened by a track by Fylstra, that sounds like a soundscape from a house haunted by some crying souls. It's gloomy, slow and very atmospheric. Similar tones is present in two tracks by Shifting Harbor although here, the music is somewhat more massive, cosmic and at the same time compelling. This album makes a good sample presenting the skills of the two fine gentlemen and is certainly worth a try.
