The Sun's Evil Twin is a duo comprising of Arnaud Lerch and Fred Briantais, two musicians from Cergy, a town next to Paris. Their new, released in June, EP is called Here Comes the Sun.

"The Sun's Evil Twin is a group that aims to spread love. All kinds of love" - they state on their official website. And they do so with old-school psychedelic shoegaze/space rock reminding the audience of Spiritualized, Primal Scream or Spacemen 3. The similarities here are striking - guitars that are psychedelic but also hidden in the backgrounds, distinctive vocal. There's no coincidence that one of the track's title reads Psychedelic Revolution. And it doesn't matter that the revolution took place some time ago already, the retro music by the Frenchmen can be enjoyed nevertheless.

A szerzą ją za pomocą oldschoolowego psychodelicznego shoegaze'u/spacerocka spod znaku Spiritualized, Primal Scream czy Spacemen 3. Podobieństwo jest uderzające - psychodeliczne, ale schowane w tle gitary, charakterystyczny wokal. Zresztą nie przez przypadek jeden z utworów nosi tytuł Psychedelic Revolution. To że rewolucja ta dokonała się już jakiś czas temu niewiele przeszkadza w cieszeniu się retro muzyką Francuzów.
