The artist says that he aims to create a soundtrack to non-existing movie. If it's true, the movie is very touching and forces to watch without breathing. And it's black-and-white. TSOTL is supposed to be somewhere between Pink Floyd and Grails, between post-rock and psychedelic music, between emotions and power of the sound. It's all covered with shoegaze of the best quality, the best in "Promises Are Meant To Be Forgotten" with an exquisite vocal in the background The most soundtrack-like, on the other hand, is the final track based on a long monologue and atmospheric background.
Long story short, TSOTL means atmosphere that attracts with darkness and fascinates with its high definition. Like a night storm in HD. In Imax.
Surprisingly, "The Spirits Of Those Leaving" can't be bought on Bandcamp. But you can/should listen to it anyway.
