Tittyshev - Playoff (2019) EN

The Catalonian band Tittyshev have been making first steps on the shoegaze scene of Spain for a while now. They now released a short EP Playoff which made them debut on this blog.

They describe themselves in simple but meaningful words: "noisy entities with pop hearts". This short EP shows this well. It's ruled by the guitar noise out of which the melodies are made still being of secondary importance. Behind them there's withdrawn, indie pop vocal hidden. In comparison with other similar bands, the Catalonians are really focused on the noise that is bigger and more important. And it's so good as the musicians make it well, especially in tracks such as Otra vida and Hazte tú la cena.

Kataloński zespół Tittyshev od pewnego czasu sukcesywnie stawia pierwsze kroki na shoegaze'owej scenie Hiszpanii. Tym razem pokazał krótką EP-kę Playoff i debiutuje nią na moim blogu.

Sami o sobie piszą w prostych ale wymownych słowach "hałaśliwe byty o popowych sercach". Na króciutkiej EP-ce dobrze to słychać. Króluje na nich gitarowy noise, z którego stworzone są melodie pełniące mimo wszystko drugorzędne znaczenie. Za nimi schowany jest dopiero wycofany, bardzo indiepopowy wokal. W porównaniu do innych kapel tego typu, element hałasu u Katalończyków jest zdecydowanie większy i ważniejszy. I dobrze, bo muzycy czują się w nim jak ryby w wodzie, zwłaszcza w kawałkach Otra vida i Hazte tú la cena.
