Rosetta - Sower of Wind (2019) EN

Rosetta is a band every post-rock/post-metal fan knows. This time though, the Americans made a surprise and released a short albu filled with world class guitar ambient. Sower of Wind is filled with material inspired by ideas the band actually developed during recording their last album Utopoid two years ago , the ideas that got their own life in the meantime.

The album is based on dark, unsettling backgrounds made of guitar reverbs and drones, that are slightly lightened with keys and lonely riffs. Those backgrounds are pretty dynamic so they listener can feel as if they were in a car riding somewhere in this night music trance. It is broken from time to time be it by some louder noise (the ending in East) or samples from an orbital ether (West). But trance nevertheless.
