When I claim that the saddest season in my opinion is spring, people don't seem to understand. However, Chris Pandolfo, known as Clouds Collide sounds like a person who could get it. Because when should melancholy strike if not in the time of this worldwide explosion of life and love? When you had lost those and wonder if people around you don't just fake being happy. If happiness is actually a phenomenon that has right to have a name?

Pandolfo sees it as he writes on his Bandcamp that "All Things Shining" "deals with the ups and downs of overcoming loss and once again is hugely influenced by nostalgic connections with the seasons and the memories that may come along with them, this time the season being Spring". You can hear it in his bright music that collides with angry growls and sad vocals - just like a man whose thoughts don't match the spring miracle. Never.
