Indonesian underground is always welcome. This time it comes with the shoegaze band from Bandung - my violainé morning. The musicians describe their music as "an expression driven by saturation, isolated, sadness, madness, hope and wishes". That's a lot but also the music is very rich.
It starts with a lively melody in "Morning Angels" but already in "Room Flies" it gets loud with deafening guitars in its final phase, really well suiting the dreamy vocal. Which is something the next track, Mindless Dreams" surprisingly lacks. But it doesn't change how good it is. "99 Miles" is the big come back of the fantastic noise and "Where's My Place to Play" sums the whole thing as it should. The band's main message is saving the environment and reminding people of its importance. Which shows in the cover picture.
Their music is supposed to surprise us with the "vision from another side of this world". So, taking things literally, from here.
"Where's My Place to Play" is available for 3 USD.
