White Poppy, that is Crystal Dorval, is an airy dreampop/shoegaze drowned in the pink haze from the title. As the artist herself explains, the haze is a symbol of an overwhelming feeling of spiritual love coming from within and beyond, a feeling that is both elusive and fleeting, just like this music.
The magic of this album is introduced with the airy "Magic Feel", the title of which explains everything you should know about this track. "Hypnotized", on the other hand, is the only track that is catchy enough to be listened to over and over against, it is definitely the one to fall in love with from the first sight. And it tells a story of falling in love too, as the whole album does actually.

Most of the songs are less pop and more blurred, oneiric, like definitions of dreampop. The best example here is "Love Potion" sounding as if taken straight from the repertoire of the early Slowdive.
"The Pink Haze Of Love" costs 7 USD.
