Susanne Stanglow, Berlin-based artist, up to this point was mostly known as Haruko and under this moniker released a couple of LPs. Now, together with multi-instrumentalist H. Gudjonssonem, comes back in a less indie folk project with an album called Sleeplessness.
This new version of her include ballad dark folk combined with delicately noisy ambient pop. And I really dig it. Beautiful vocals, touching and piercing songs, slowcore pace. Sadness, sadness and sadness once more, from time to time strengthened with delicate noise murmuring in the backgrounds. As in the great and moving Insomnia Pt. 1. The whole album is to be listened to late in the miserable evening.
Sleeplessness costs 5 EUR.
Check: Insomnia Pt. 1
