A-Sun Amissa - For Burdened and Bright Light (2019) EN

The duo Richard Knox - Angela Chan have already gained the name of a band creating exceptionally beautiful droning post-rock. Not a wonder as For Burdened and Bright Light is already their fifth album and it's released by Gizeh Records who don't work with random people.

The album comprises of two long tracks "incorporating some of the heavier, distorted, guitar oriented themes". This is the sea of droning guitars mesmerizing like the best trance with its unique, raw but also melancholic atmosphere. I can only imagine how good it is live - in some places monumental, minimal in other but always with the main goal on their mind - generating one-off atmosphere.
