Goodbye Ivan - Rêverie (2019) EN

Arnaud Ivan Sponar comes from France and creates music for movies and audiovisual art (known first of all from a soundtrack to the American movie CLIM8). His spiritual neoclassical works showed recently on his album called Rêverie.

The album is played mostly on piano keys, but what happens in the tracks' backgrounds is not less important. Those are ruled by very often most unsettling ambient sounds that balance the beautiful and light piano. It's well audible in Prélude or Éveil, but the pinnacle of this effect is the very dark Marche. Exactly this mixture of two very different moods the French's album is worth reaching for.
