Zealand the North - Brightness of an Endless Light (2020) EN

Zealand the North, post-rockowy quartet from Texas, who are devoted to "bringing personal, powerful, and stimulating live experiences through sound and visual design". Instrumental music on a good level can be now listened to on their debut album called Brightness of an Endless Light.

Everything is as it should be in this project. The compositions on the album level to the best, as does the quality of the sound. The band show a coherent idea behind the project and together with the new music, they showed a broad range of merchandising. The visual perhaps is not breathtaking but it's fine. It shows that the artists wanted to debut well and instantly start knocking to the first league of the world post-rock scene. In the music itself, there's no particular mood that is more important, some fragments are light, almost danceable, other surprise with the depth of melancholy and thought-provoking -ness. And the whole thing is created with almost exclusively guitar-oriented post-rock and the album that sounds like one, very well-constructed piece.
