ifwe - Тихий Парад (2014) EN

If you listen to our Monday’s Show Me A Dinosaur and the artist of today, you can hardly believe that one city could create two so different approaches to sensibility. Sasha, Misha and Dima alias Ifwe create subtle dreampop, quiet and ashamed of its beauty. They sound like an eastern reply for Fireflies although they provide us with less heart melting onyric notes and more melodies.

From what I can understand, they sing about forest, books and midnight. But in order to feel the lyrics you don’t have to know the language, everything is noticeable in the vocal, the music and the ashamed face on the album’s cover.

There’s next to nothing about them in the Internet. I don’t even know whether they still play, I certainly do hope so because it’s definitely one of the prettiest faces of Petersburg.

“Тихий Парад” costs only $5.
