Deer Buffalo - Murmur (2019) EN

You can safely say that the Internet knows nothing about Deer Buffalo. Except for the fact that they put some international level American shoegaze on their short EP released by Perfect Fourth Music.

Loud wall of guitar sounds crushing the audience from the first second of the first track and hidden behind it exceptionally airy vocal, this is what characterizes the project's music. It's all, you may say, normal thing for shoegaze, but still, Deer Buffalo make it all even more. The dense layer of music doesn't let too much of the vocal through, but that's not the point, vocal is only a tool to make the whole thing more ethereal. I'd love to hear more from Deer Buffalo. Perhaps soon?

Śmiało można powiedzieć, że o Deer Buffalo nie wiadomo w sieci nic. Poza tym, że na swojej krótkiej EP-ce wydanej przez Perfect Fourth Music pokazali kawał wysokiej jakości amerykańskiego shoegaze'u. 

Głośna ściana gitar waląca w słuchacza od pierwszej sekundy trwania albumu i schowany za nią nadzwyczaj eteryczny wokal, to charakteryzuje muzykę projektu. Wszystko to jest, można powiedzieć, normalne dla shoegaze'u, niemniej Deer Buffalo bardzo to uwypukla. Gęsta warstwa muzyki nie przepuszcza zbyt wiele wokalu, ale nie o to chodzi, wokal służy tutaj bardziej do nadania eterycznego sznytu całości. Chciałoby się usłyszeć więcej materiału od Deer Buffalo, może wkrótce.
