Timothy Fairless - Sum (2019) EN

The multi-talented Timothy Fairless in his career dealt with movie soundtracks and supporting oter artists on stage. His own repertoire showed five years ago and today comes back with his rich music on the EP called Sum.

Fairless is an artist who "processes acoustic, electronic and environmental sources to near oblivion". And exactly like that, he's very skillful in going straight from ultra-delicate ambient and neoclassicism to shocking noise. As in the EP's opening Wait for Zero where in the half point of the track there's an intriguing collapse and then swift rebuild. Similarly interesting is  Fistion Is Forever with its most delicate neoclassical ambient with time being enriched with nervous electronic pulsating only to become a true post-rock music at the end.

W swojej wszechstronności Timothy Fairless zajmował się muzyką filmową, a czasem wspomaganiem innych artystów. Własnymi kompozycjami debiutował pięć lat temu, a dzisiaj pokazuje swój bogaty muzyczny repertuar na EP-ce Sum.

Fairless to artysta, który "przetwarza akustyczne, elektroniczne i środowiskowe dźwięki w stronę bliską zapomnienia". I faktycznie, potrafi on bardzo sprawnie przemieścić się od ultra delikatnego ambientu i neoklasyki po  szokujący noise. Tak jak w otwierającym EP-kę Wait for Zero, w  którym w połowie utworu następuje intrygujące załamanie, a potem odbudowanie. Podobnie ciekawy jest Fistion Is Forever z najbardziej delikatnym neoklasycznym ambientem z czasem wzbogacanym o nerwowe pulsowanie elektroniki i w końcu regularnie post-rockowe granie.
