Standard Legal - Mercury (2018) EN

Andrew Siegel, known as Standard Legal on the stage, creates a mixture of electronic dream pop and post-punk. A really well concocted one. You can try it with his new EP called "Mercury".

Already the opening track "General Airborne" shows what kind of music we are dealing with. One track that involves tons of catchiness, also because of the intriguing vocal sounding a bit like Finn Andrews of The Veils's one, mesmerizing rhythm and musical diversity. And meanwhile, in the background there is an industrial spirit raging, which ties the whole album together.

Something to point out is also "Until The Streets Turn Dry" with almost soul vocalizing or... an r'n'b rhythm in "What Can I Do". Diverse and well done, that's how we like it.
