Thanks to Polar Sea Recordings, the one that gave us Clara Engel's album last year, we don't have to be afraid of troubles of sleeping. Coastal Miner is a real glass of milk and honey, a soundtrack for traveling to Morpheus' Realm.
The whole thing is an improvisation on electric guitar and pedals. But the soundscapes generated in a moment sound as if they had been there for thousands of years waiting to be discovered. There's hardly more to write, it has to be experienced on one's own.
There's nothing known about the artist. Although the name of the project is also a name of a small bird from South America. Maybe it's some kind of lead? Or maybe it just means that landscapes are best seen from the bird's perspective, especially a tiny one's.
"Coastal Miner II" is available for "pay-what-you-want".
